Since 2007, J-Teen Leadership organizes a trip during February break to the Panim Politics in Action Seminar. This four-day opportunity in Washington, D.C. allows teens to explore public policy, politics, community service and activism through a Jewish lens. Together with dozens of teens from across the United States, teens learn how to make a difference in our community, our country and the world. The culmination of the four days is a visit as a delegation to Capitol Hill advocating on behalf of legislation that is currently before Congress with our elected officials.
The Panim Seminar is a pivotal experience for many of our teens. The case is made and driven home that teens can be agents for change today. The Dream It, Do It model lays out the steps for identifying a problem and taking action.
