J-SERVE 2020- FIGHTING FOOD INSECURITY
Important Corona Virus Update: J-SERVE 2020 will be re-scheduled for Fall 2020. We will update the website when we have more information.
Join Jewish teens from across Westchester County to help fight food insecurity in our own backyard. We will package hundreds of meal kits for students and others in need who frequent the food pantry at Westchester Community College each month.
Together we will learn how food insecurity affects mental health and access to education, as we give back and discover the impact we can have through J-Teen Leadership, a program of UJA.
J-SERVE Chairs: Alex Berkman, Caroline Mayer and Evan Weiss
J-SERVE is an annual day held during April. During J-SERVE, Jewish teens around the world create service experience for themselves that serve their home communities. Each year J-Teen Leadership spearheads Westchester's local J-Serve project.
