Teen Collection Ambassador Training!
For 9th-12th Graders

Thanks to a generous grant from UJA-Federation of New York in connection with its Time for Good initiative, J-Teen Leadership will be spearheading a Westchester-wide MLK Day teen volunteer initiative with the AFYA Foundation to benefit Syrian refugees in Lesvos, Greece.

J-Teen Leadership is co-sponsoring a shipping container to be filled with much needed humanitarian supplies to be delivered directly to the refugees by AFYA. 200 teens from all over Westchester will sort and pack supplies provided by AFYA and teen-run collection drives and prepare the container to be shipped.

With the support of AFYA and J-Teen Leadership, Collection Ambassadors will be responsible for setting up and running collection sites at schools, houses of worship, doctor's offices, local libraries, etc. all over Westchester County. Ambassadors will also play leadership roles in helping to run the packing project on MLK Day.
