OUR NEW WAY GARDEN

NEW EVENT!

J-Teen Volunteers will work with Our New Way Garden staff on the upkeep of The New King Street Garden, a volunteer-run garden that provides the food pantry at the Portchester Carver Center with fresh and organically grown produce and herbs.  Projects in the garden will include preparing beds for winter, planting garlic, harvesting, and exploring the positive impact a garden of locally and naturally grown food and flowers has on the community and environment. This is a great project for those interested in food justice and sustainability!
